Mentoring Services

Four Seasons offers mentoring services to physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants in both our hospice and palliative care departments in all care settings-hospital, assisted living facility, nursing home, home, clinic and Elizabeth House, our 19-bed inpatient hospice unit. Mentoring is a valuable hands-on learning experience for those new or wanting to improve their skill set to hospice and palliative care. The experience will be tailored to the specific needs of the provider. In addition to enhancing your clinical skills, our mentoring program includes practical information around initiation of a pc program, business model with staffing ratios, templates and intentional visit design. We share operational and clinical metrics, PQRI (spell out) data to collect, and pearls on billing and coding appropriately. Protocols that we have developed for the hospital setting as well as IPU are also shared. Prior to coming to Four Seasons, as assessment is performed so we can tailor the experience to the individual provider.
